I love acupuncture! It hasn’t helped with my pain yet, and I was pretty uncomfortable this afternoon, BUT I am more relaxed. I was really not sure about the whole needle thing, but once they were in, I just let go. I let out a big sigh and put my head in my mommy’s lap and went to sleep! My breathing was slow and deep, instead of the quicker more shallow breathing I’ve been doing through my discomfort. Mom says she doesn’t know the last time she saw me that relaxed.
Small victories….even if it never helps my pain, those needles are worth it just for a little relaxation.

we agree – nothing beats the needles for a great nap!!! gayle had to be harnessed and lifted up to get her to leave the needle room… we also started using a laser at home (on some acupuncture/acupressure points)..you might want to check with your acupuncture vet to see if you could do this for holly too!
